Fitness wristband: Learn how to keep your health data up to date

Modified on Wed, 17 Apr at 2:28 PM

1. Make sure your wristband is connected to Apple Health.

Open Apple Health and check if the data of your fitness wristband is updated in Apple Health. If not, check the connection between your wristband and the manufacturer's app, or the connection between the manufacturer's app and Apple Health, and reconnect if necessary.
2. Make sure Apple Health is sending the right data to VITY.

When you link your fitness wristband to Apple Health, your fitness wristband may not be the preferred source, but your iPhone may be. To prioritize your fitness wristband's data, simply follow the instructions on the Apple website under "Prioritize data sources" to fix this issue.

3. Enable all permissions for VITY in Apple Health.

VITY needs permission to retrieve data from Apple Health. To manage these permissions, open the Health app, tap "Sharing", then "Apps" and select "VITY". Make sure all options are highlighted in green.

4. Be patient: the data will not be displayed in real time.

VITY updates your data as soon as an update from AppleHealth has arrived. This means that your data will not be displayed in real time in VITY. But don't worry, during the day all your data will be updated.
